# Variable Mapping

Hi All,  
I have created a Boolean variable in Grafana in which 0 means sever up and 1 means server down. I am trying to map the variable by casting 1-Down and 0-Up , however the variable has been linked to status panel and casting the value is not reflecting when i change the variable. Can someone please help with the workaround
