Update from 11.0.0 to 11.1.0 breaks all MySQL-datasources

    V11.0 on Windows

    To update to 11.1.0
  • What happened?
    Datasource are broken. No settings available any more …

Hi All,

I try to update my Grafana Enterprise 11.0.0 to 11.1.0 on Windows. But after updating, all MySQL-datasources aren’t working anymore.
If I go to a datasource, I see this:

How could I fix this?
Currently, I’m back on 11.0.0 to have a running system …

i think it is a known issue if you search in github grafana

It’s still the same with 11.1.3. on windows …

Found the solution: Layer 8

From former times and due to the behavior of the MSI, I safed before and copied after the update the folders
config
data
public

Because the database , the custom-plugins and the config were afte rthe update missing.
Now, with version 11.1.x.x this leads to the mentioned error.

Only the folder conf needs the be saved and copied after the update. The file defaults.ini is over written by the MSI.
And perhaps some other, which I’ve not checked.
