Restart of Grafana instance needed

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    EU Germany - prod-eu-west-2 - prod-eu-west-2

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    I would like to have my instance being restarted

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    I would like to ask you to restart it, as i do not have the option to do so.

  • What happened?
    I am missing servers in my dashboard.

  • What did you expect to happen?
    There is missing one of my servers (pulled the data from a Prometheus server).

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?
    No

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
    No errors

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
    No

if your aws instance opensuse leap 15.5 you can use this command to restart the server
sudo systemctl restart prometheus
if you are using window then you can go to services and then restate the grafana service and form prometheus you can close and then start again
don’t know which os you are using..

Hello ,

I don’t know how to login to that service, I mean I opened a cloud version of grafana.

I don’t have a local server running, but when I am in my grafana environment there is no option to reboot the instance.

How do I proceed?

Grafana Cloud doesn’t have a restart option, and you shouldn’t need to restart it. You are doing something wrong when you think that you need to restart it.
