Problem after update from grafana 8.2.5-1 to 8.3.1-1mysql dashboard

Hi,
I’m running a grafana-8.2.5-1.x86_64 and a prometheus-2.31.1 on a CentOS 8 4.18.0-348.2.1.el8_5.x86_64 host,
After an update from 8.2.5-1 to 8.3.1-1 a mysql-Dashboard that I use is no longer working.
I collect the data from a mari-db cluster with mysqld_exporter-0.13.0.linux-amd64 and it worked likie a charm the last 3 days. But now I only get the information that there is no data, even when I try to look at the past 2 days. So the old data is gone and no new is shown. I use the Dashboard number 7362 “Mysql Overview”.
What can I do to troubleshoot this problem ?

Any suggestions are welcome

kind regards

I found a lot of these error msg in /var/log/messages:
Dec 10 14:22:52 ginko grafana-server[3668]: t=2021-12-10T14:22:52+0100 lvl=eror msg=“Request Completed” logger=context userId=1 orgId=1 uname=admin method=POST path=/api/ds/query status=500 remote_addr=192.168.3.225

Anybody with an idea ?

ok, after I changed at the in the database source setting for the prometheus from 192.168.3.20:9090 to http://192.168.3.20:9090 I see data in some of the panels, but not in all. The ones without showing this kind of error:
status:500
statusText:“Internal Server Error”
data:Object
message:“Metric request error”
config:Object
url:“api/ds/query”
method:“POST”
data:Object
requestId:“Q183”
retry:0
headers:Object
hideFromInspector:false
message:“Metric request error”

Any suggestions are welcome

ok I found a solution, switch the prometheus source from “Server” to “Browser” and then the problem is gone.

And yes, all other dashboards had no errors, only the “mysql overview” did.
