I have an Influx database with 8 channels of temperature data (showing the temperature profile across my beehives plus ambient T). At the moment I have a clunky python/matplotlib program and file based database that slowly and inefficiently plots the profile as a time series contour plot. I would like the speed and flexibility of Influx plus Grafana to replace this. Tables nearly do the job but only allow 3 colors. Carpet plot looks promising but I need the vertical axis to be the temperature feeds. I’d appreciate a pointer to how I can approach this. The attached image is a snapshot of the time evolving temperature profile across two hives (0 - 6 on the vertical axis is the sensor position, with time along the horizontal axis.)
