[node_exporter] How to only show currently known to prometheus node/targets in pulldown menu?

Hi,

Is there a way to configure the node_exporter dashboard/pluging (i.e., https://grafana.com/dashboards/1860) to only show the currently active targets known to prometheus in the pulldown menu?
Every time I switch out targets in prometheus’ configuration file (i.e., scape endpoints) it keeps adding to the list of nodes in this dashboard’s pulldown menu, but I would only like to see the current nodes.
