I am very new to loki (central log management). We have a monolith application which we converted to microservices and running in k8s. These service will be hosted by enterprises. The platform would be private cloud (opnstack,vmware . . .) or public cloud (AWS, Azure …) . If they encounter any issue, they have to ship the logs to our engineering team for analysis/debug.
Considering above use case, how LOKI server collected logs will be sent in same format to engineering team or what is the option for engineering team to get the logs and do the analyse.
One more , if the LOKI server pod restarted, what happens to the logs happened during the interval. Will the promtail will back-pressure or . . …
