Log rotation settings only works when servive restart is scheduled

Hello Community,

we use the following settings in the grafana.ini to rotate the logs:

[log.file]
log_rotate = true
daily_rotate = true
max_days = 80
max_lines = 1

Our system is a Redhad Linux server.
We only get a rotate when we resart the grafana server service.

Did we forget something ?

interesting. Have you tried adjusting max days to 1?
