Latest date not appearing

• What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
  Grafana version is 7.5.6 and OS is Windows 10.

• What are you trying to achieve?
  I have query variables from date and to date. whenever i am opening the dashboard i want the latest dates in the from date and to date section.

• How are you trying to achieve it?
  By saving the dashboard with default variables. And keeping the variables refresh as on dashboard load.

• What happened?
  Some dashboards are showing the latest dates but the others are not.

If you are using Query variables

then all values are retrieved from your datasource. Do you order values in your queries for these variables somehow?

Did you specify sorting type in the properties of a variable?

the sorting is disabled and the query is ordered by desc.
And the funny part is in one or two dashboards i am getting the latest date whenever i refresh but in others i am not.
