What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
I am using Grafana version 10.4.3 on a MacBook with macOS. My browser is Chrome.
What are you trying to achieve?
I am trying to make the annotation box more accessible by adjusting its position so that it opens at the top of the page instead of being removed from the view when clicked.
How are you trying to achieve it?
Currently, I am using the default settings for annotations in Grafana. When I click on an annotation, the related box appears to be removed from the page, making it invisible or inaccessible.
What happened?
Upon clicking an annotation, the box related to the annotation is removed from the visible area of the page. This makes it impossible to view the details of the annotation.
What did you expect to happen?
I expected the annotation box to appear in a fixed or more accessible position, preferably at the top of the page, so that it remains visible and accessible regardless of where the annotation is located on the graph.
Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?
Unfortunately, I do not have a specific configuration snippet to share as this issue occurs with the default annotation settings in Grafana 10.4.3.
