# Is it possible to send alerts from Grafana to Nagios/Icinga

Just wondering if it was possible to configure Grafana (with telegraf/influxdb as datasource) to send alerts to a Nagios or Icinga system? I know how to send nagios performance results into Grafana for trending, but wanted to reverse the flow and send a passive check result into Nagios if [criteria\>] was met with Grafana.

Hi,

You may be able to use a webhook as notifciation channel for Grafana Alerts, see [documentation](http://docs.grafana.org/alerting/notifications/#webhook).
