# Initial bind failed LDAP Error

I am having trouble activating grafana authentication with Active Directory.

The following error is displayed in the grafana log.

**lvl=info msg=“Initial bind failed” logger=ldap error="LDAP Result Code 49 “Invalid Credentials”: 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C09042F, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 775, v2580"**

My settings in the ldap.toml file

host = “IPADDRESS”  
port = 389  
use\_ssl = false  
start\_tls = false  
ssl\_skip\_verify = true

bind\_dn = “MYCOMPANY\%s”  
bind\_password = ‘\*’

search\_filter = “(sAMAccountName=%s)”

Can someone help me ?
