Hydrolix + Grafana for CDN observability?

Grafana is supported by Clickhouse, which Hydrolix uses as its front end. Has anyone used Grafana as the front end for CDN observability to stop shipping logs to Splunk? Feels like it would be cheaper and more flexible to use Grafana.
