How to point out the highest of two query values in a stat panel using Infinity data source?

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    Grafana v9.2.1 macOS Sonoma 14.4

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    Color differently the highest value resulting from a query

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    I tried setting a percentage threshold

  • What happened?
    It worked, but i think there might be a more professional approach

  • What did you expect to happen?
    the same thing

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?

Can you share the unaltered data that is returned by your query?

Sure! This is an example.

[
    {
        "metricId": 111111,
        "metricName": "***|Application Summary|Errors per Minute",
        "metricPath": "Overall Application Performance|Errors per Minute",
        "frequency": "CUSTOM",
        "metricValues": [
            {
                "startTimeInMillis": 1709938980000,
                "occurrences": 22,
                "current": 112,
                "min": 0,
                "max": 71,
                "useRange": false,
                "count": 21071,
                "sum": 43358,
                "value": 33,
                "standardDeviation": 0
            }
        ]
    }
]

And I parse only metricValues[0].value

Your question was the highest of two query values

Where is the second one? Or is the result all from one infinity query to an api or 2?

Assume I have two queries whose results are similar to this sample object. Both queries being in the same stat panel, which uses Infinity data source.
