Using Grafana version 9 installed in RHEL instance.
What are you trying to achieve?
change e-mail alert content type to plaintext

I am working on integration of Grafana alerts with ServiceNow and need to switch the alert format to plaintext. I found this issue but am not able to switch the format
What did you expect to happen?
To have Grafana e-mail alerts in plaintext format.

Were you ever able to find a solution for this? I’m currently attempting to be able to switch the format of the email alerts to plaintext as well and I’m not having much luck.
I’m using the same Grafana version and I found this, which appears to be a solution that was implemented. From what I gather grafana naturally prefers html as a format, but can be changed to allow for plaintext.

Hello @josiahhansen: no, I was not able to modify the template. My future plan is to use the Pysnow module for ticket creation.
