How get transparent background with image-renderer PNG

Hello,

I.m using Grafana v8.3.3.

I using image-rendere plugin to create PNG images for displaying.
Before I had a solid background and found how through CSS styling to change te background color of the rendered image.
Because I now would like an image at the background, a transparent graph image would be nice.

I expected that a change to a transparent backgriound was easy but doesn’t work for some reason.
I’m getting a white background.
It seems that when I share the graph through the iframe URL, I got the transparency working.
The problem is this is giving a high load on the CPU.

Is there a way to get the transparency in the rendered PNG file?

Thanks.

Regards,
Edwin
