Historical AWS loki logs not accessible on GKE loki

Hello community,

We are setting up Loki on GCP GKE and AWS EKS. The AWS EKS loki logs are getting stored in S3 bucket. The historical data from S3 has been migrated to GCP GCS bucket but the new loki instance on GKE is not able to read the historical logs from AWS.

Also we see the file type for AWS logs is binary/octet-stream whereas, for GCP logs it is application/octet-stream. Could the difference in file type be a reason for the GKE loki instance to not read the AWS logs? Or is there any additional configuration that needs to be done from our end on Grafana to access the AWS logs?

Any assistance on the above query would be highly appreciated!
