Recently i upgraded to grafana version 11.5.1 via apt repository under ubuntu 22.04. Looks like grafana consumes significant more CPU ressources in idle state (w/o any open dashboard and straight forward config, i.e. no additional addons, collections, … and influx DB changes in a range of every 5 seconds). Absolute CPU load is still quite low, but at least doubled compared to earlier release. Via strace i see a bunch of stat calls related to grafana.db-wal (periodically ~8 calls/second) and grafana.db-journal (periodically ~5 calls/seconds). Is there any config change or adaptation i overlooked? Thanks a lot for any hint!

Hi, are you running with sqllite or a dedicated database like mysql or postgres?
I haven’t made any change in database section (all entries still marked as comment), hence default, i.e. it should be sqlite as per my understanding.

We reverted back to previous version as we are seeing way too many anomalies

Minor update: I reverted back to earlier version as well. Looks like the frequent polling i mentioned in my initial post has been introduced with version 11.5.0. Release 11.4.1 shows low idle load.
Could you please guide me to more dedicated settings i should check. I don’t have any database configuration at all, everything commented out, i.e. default. Has there been any change introduced with release 11.5.0 i should consider? As mentioned, everything fine (i.e. no polling 8 and 5 times a second) and as expected with 11.4.1.
