# Grafana viewer to see logs from graylog tha use elasticsearch and mongodb

- What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?  
grafana 8.5.21 DEBIAN11 BULLEYE

- **What** are you trying to achieve?  
I am trying to conecto with another machine to see logs with graylog tha use mongoDB and elasticsearch

- **How** are you trying to achieve it? I am only try to see the logs to make dashboards.

- What happened?  
I can´t connect to Elasticsearch or mongodb

- What did you **expect** to happen? I expect connect to elasticsearch or mongodb.

- Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?  
The configuration is the standard.

- Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us **exactly** what they were.  
I cant connect with elasticsearch or mongodb.

- Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?  
NO.

My question is , have I install the grafana server in the same machine that graylog to connect elasticsearch or mongodb?
