# Grafana install error

E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?

I have the same issues. Following the installation guide is not solving this issue.  
Do you have other ideas?  
What about this source, was it just shut of or replaced with another source?

Hello everyone,

Update: This seems to be a known issue as already reported on our GitHub [issue](https://github.com/grafana/grafana/issues/58500). You can find the answers and some solutions (workaround) for it.

Following the installations steps i was doing:

```auto
echo "deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/grafana.key] https://apt.grafana.com beta main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/grafana.list

```

changed it to stable and it worked:

```auto
echo "deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/grafana.key] https://apt.grafana.com stable main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/grafana.list

```
