Gexp - OpenTSDB

Hi !

I’m working on Grafana using OpenTSDB and I’m looking for a way to use gexp features from OpenTSDB.
I saw on a topic (https://github.com/grafana/grafana/issues/3805) that someone developped this feature.I also saw that there is a fork on github (https://github.com/dehotot/grafana/tree/opentsdb-gexp).
Is it planned to merge this feature into the official release ?

Or if not in the default version, could it be embedded in a plugin?
