I see that there is support for variables and templating with Graphitedb.
I am using Druid as a datasource. I was not able to do variables with Druid dimensions and how to use them.
Is that supported ?

The druid datasource are listed on the Grafana Official & community built plugins here. However, Grafana labs are not the authors of this datasource.
I would recommend that you follow this issue (that was created a few days ago) over at the druid datasource github repository.
