- What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
**13.2.0** (build `bb1a9a86`), **Cloud Advanced** edition, in the `production` environment.

- **What** are you trying to achieve?
Pull data from data souce

- **How** are you trying to achieve it?

- Via Bigquery connector

- What happened?

- Any Boolean pulled will not have correct data, it takes the last boolean of any col and apply to all rows

- What did you **expect** to happen?
It should read the actual data in my data source

- Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?
The code i run:
select true as `check`

- Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us **exactly** what they were.
No error

- Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
No

It looks like the native BOOL→dataframe conversion in the plugin isn’t copying each row’s value independently as every row ends up pointing at whatever the last row’s value was by the time the frame is built.

**Panel 1 → native BOOL :**

Query →

> select true as `check` union all select false union all select true union all select false

All 4 rows returned `false` → matches the last value in the query, not the actual per row data.

**Panel 2 → same values, cast to string (fixed):**

Query →

> select cast(true as string) as `check` union all select cast(false as string) union all select cast(true as string) union all select cast(false as string)

Result → correctly returned `true, false, true, false`.

Workaround is to cast any BOOLEAN column to STRING in your SQL instead of returning it natively. If you want it to display/filter as a boolean again, you can add a value mapping (`"true"` → true, `"false"` → false) via a field override on the panel.

Open this as a GitHub issue on the plugin repo if one doesn’t already exist →
