# Can we use "Carpet plot" plugin for heatmap n\*n

Hi,  
I am looking for a heat map chart that renders the n\*n matrix, which contains groups on the x-axis and variables on the y-axis. Something I found on [d3](https://www.d3-graph-gallery.com/graph/heatmap_style.html) and m looking Grafana plugin similar to this d3 chart. After looking into the plugins I found “[Carpet plot](https://grafana.com/grafana/plugins/petrslavotinek-carpetplot-panel)”, will this Grafana plugin solves my requirements
