"All" value inconsistent when language changed

I have changed the display language in Grafana in the defaults.ini:

The following inconsistency occurs all over my dashboards now:

Is there a fix for this?

So what is the issue , hard to tell for a non German speaker

For consistency’s sake, “Alle” should appear in the dashboard when it is selected in the top. The pictures show that “All” appears in this case.

In German, “All” means space in most cases. “Alle” is correct here, which seems to be known by Grafana at the top, but somehow not in the dashboard.

What does it show if you temporarily switch to French or Spanish, languages most are familiar with to try to help sort out this issue

Here’s Spanish (“es-ES”)

I guess it’s always “All” in the panels

In that case provide your own All value in the variable setup to be Alle and see what happens

looks like it is a bug?

it works once in a while

I’m guessing when it worked you were using the custom all value. Otherwise ‘raw’ format returns the actual list of values for me.

Maybe I will edit every single query to accommodate the custom all value… probably wouldn’t take too long using find/replace in the JSON… I have other things to do though. Really annoying bug
