# Alerting system

HI All,  
I am new to grafana & using v 4.2 . I am creating a sample dashboard which contains some graphs in it and planning to set some thresholds for each graph …is it possible to set thresholds and configure a email alerting procedure in grafana if any graph exceeds that threshold
